Physician Biography

Dr. Cecilia Lorenzo of Vein Care Solutions in Frisco, is Board-Certified in both Vascular and General Surgery. She is also a Registered Vascular Technologist.

Dr. Lorenzo received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed her General Surgery residency at the University of California at San Francisco. She completed a Fellowship in Trauma Surgery at the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital and a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital.

Before moving to the North Texas area, Dr. Lorenzo had a private practice in General and Trauma Surgery in Norwich, CT. She has served as Director of the Department of Trauma Services at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. Dr. Lorenzo’s experience also includes an Assistant Professorship in the Department of Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan. She currently serves as the Medical Director of the Collin County Community College Surgical Technology Program.

Dr. Lorenzo is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the Pan American Trauma Society, and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
